Running on Empty

Almost everyone has had that moment on a road trip when the fuel light comes on. At first, you think, "I've got plenty of time." Then every mile feels longer. You turn off the air conditioner. You ease off the gas. You start searching for the next gas station. The farther you drive on empty, the more anxious you become.

Spiritually, many Christians are doing the same thing.

They're still moving...

Still serving...

Still attending church...

But they're running on empty. God never intended His people to live exhausted or spiritually depleted. He desires to fill us with His strength, His hope, and His joy.
